Our structural waterproofing sequence.
A correct system is built in layers. Every step matters.
1. Controlled excavation
- 5–8 ft depth to expose wall and footing.
- Excavated in safe staged sections.
- Prevents undermining of footings.
2. Wall cleaning & assessment
- Pressure-wash, scrape and clean concrete or block.
- Identify structural problems before covering.
3. Structural repairs
- Reinforced concrete pours where walls are failing.
- Steel, dowels and proper tie-ins.
- Full wall replacement when needed.
4. Waterproofing membrane
- 60–90 mil elastomeric membrane.
- Self-healing & monolithic.
5. Dimple board
- Protects membrane.
- Creates drainage plane.
6. Footing drains
- 4" perforated pipe at footing elevation.
- #57 clean stone envelope.
- Geotextile wrap.
7. Stone backfill
- 24–36" of #57 stone up the wall.
- Final soil grading away from home.
